Allenstown, New Boston Men Arrested On First-Degree Assault Charges
Payson Tracy and Damon Carter were arrested by Manchester police on Monday, accused of severely beating a man during a McGarvey's Bar fight.

MANCHESTER, NH — Two men are facing first-degree assault charges after being accused of severely beating a man during a bar fight in the Queen City late last month.
Around 12:45 a.m. on Sept. 29, police were sent to McGarvey’s Bar on Elm Street for a report of an assault. When officers arrived, they found a man in his mid-30s in the alleyway outside of the bar who was bleeding and suffering from serious, non-life-threatening injuries, Heather Hamel, the public information officer for the Manchester police, said.
“The reporting party had not seen the assault but heard a scuffle outside the bar,” she said. “When she opened the door, she saw the victim lying on the ground and two men leaving the area.”
