Allenstown Trucker Injured During Crash On Interstate 93, New Hampshire State Police Say
Thomas Martell was taken to the hospital after driving off the highway, into a median, and into some trees early Thursday morning.

SANBORNTON, NH — A man from Allenstown was taken to the hospital after a tractor-trailer crash on Interstate 93 early Thursday morning in Sanbornton, according to New Hampshire State Police.
Around 6 a.m., state police dispatch began receiving calls about a truck crash on the northbound side of the highway near Mile Marker 59. The truck, according to reports, drove off the Interstate, into the median, and then into the woods, where the vehicle stopped.
“When troopers arrived,” state police said, “they found a red 2025 Mack Anthem with extensive damage.”

Thomas Martell, 65, of Allenstown, was identified as the driver. The truck appeared to be hauling goods for Market Basket.
Sanbornton fire and rescue teams were requested and took him to the hospital with minor injuries.

“Traffic near the crash scene will be impacted until the tractor-trailer is removed,” state police said. “The New Hampshire Department of Transportation is also assisting Troop D. The crash remains under investigation.”
