Amherst, Timberlane Regional Win Tri-County Wrestling Tournament
The Rundlett Blue Dukes of Concord and Mountain View Mountain Lions of Goffstown tie for third; 14 teams competed on Sunday.

PELHAM, NH — Fourteen middle school wrestling teams competed in the Tri-County League Tournament on Sunday at the Pelham Middle School.
The teams were from Merrimack, Hillsborough, and Rockingham counties with one Strafford County school, Rochester, participating.
The Amherst Middle School Eagles and the Timberlane Regional Middle School Tigers tied for first place with 144 points each, according to the unofficial results. The Mountain View Middle School Mountain Lions of Goffstown and Rundlett Blue Dukes of Concord tied for third with 133 points each.

Windham Middle School Wildcats placed fifth with 122 points and the Rochester Middle School Timberwolves came in sixth with 104 points. The Ross A. Lurgio Middle School Lions of Bedford scored 89 points. Both the Hollis Brookline Middle School Knights and Woodbury Middle School Warriors of Salem tied for eighth with 87.
Pelham Memorial School Tigers came in 10th with 72 points. The Milford Middle School Titans came in eleventh with 64, Merrimack Middle School scored 56 points, Hudson Memorial School Clots placed 13th with 53 points, and Londonderry Middle School Storm had 45 points.

The event was closed to the general public this year due to coronavirus so Patch does not have any pictures from the competition.
