Another Inmate Walks Away from Transitional House Unit

The New Hampshire Department of Corrections has just announced that a minimum security inmate walked away from the North End Transitional Housing Unit on Thursday, Oct. 8, 2015, according to a press statement.

Robert Michael Mozeika, 50, of Chichester, left the halfway house for work at 11:50 a.m. He reportedly left his work site without permission and did not return. He was placed on escape status at approximately 3:15 p.m.

Mozeika is described as a white male, 5-feet, 9-inches tall, 200 lbs., with black hair and hazel eyes. He has a tattoo on his left hand.

Mozeika was sentenced in Merrimack County Superior Court to four years minimum to 10 years maximum for theft by unauthorized taking with 294 days of time served credited to his sentence. He began serving this sentence on April 15, 2013, and was eligible for parole on June 23, 2016. His maximum release date is June 22, 2022.

Mozeika is third prisoner in as many weeks who has been reported missing from their housing units. 

The New Hampshire Department of Corrections Investigations Unit and the New Hampshire State Police are investigating. Anyone with information on his whereabouts should contact their local law enforcement agency or the New Hampshire State Prison at .
