CONCORD, NH — Investigators in New Hampshire are eyeing a suspicious death in the town of Haverhill early Monday morning.
Around 1 a.m., Haverhill police received “multiple 911 calls” directing them to an apartment on Nelson Street, according to Michael Garrity, the director of communications for the New Hampshire Attorney General’s Office. When they arrived, they found a man dead inside the apartment.
The man was later identified as Demetrius White, 22, of Springfield, Massachusetts.

An autopsy is being performed today on White.
On Monday night, Jayden McClanahan, 21, of Hartford, Connecticut, was arrested on burglary charges related to the investigation, according to Garrity. He was held on preventative detention and was scheduled to be arraigned on Tuesday.
No other information was released by Garrity about the case.
