Firefighters inspected the damaged building and determined it was structurally safe, while police checked the driver's license and interviewed a witness before clearing the scene.

3. Woman From Amherst Arrested On Threat And Criminal Trespass Charges In Concord (patch.com) β A recent domestic incident on Plymouth Drive led to the arrest of an Amherst woman on criminal trespass and threat-related charges in Concord, with prosecutors now pursuing only the trespass count. Police say a dispute over a child pickup escalated, involved a knife, and resulted in the woman being held, then released on conditions and ordered to stay away from the Concord home. She's due back in Concord District Court in late November.

No leaf-bagging in Concord this year, just leaf-raking (concordmonitor.com) β If you live in Concord, you'll need to rake leaves to the curb this fall, because the city has cut bagged-leaf pickup to save about $100,000. Starting Oct. 26, crews will make a single pass using leaf-loading equipment, and residents are urged to check the city's online maps or use alternatives like mulching, farm drop-off, or the Fort Eddy Road reprocessing center.

'A place to put ideas': Main Street's festivals and events continue to grow and innovate (concordmonitor.com) β Downtown Concord's Main Street is quickly becoming a hub for festivals, book events, coffee gatherings, and First Friday celebrations that residents can enjoy throughout the year. From the New Hampshire Book Festival and Northeast Coffee Fest to Cars and Coffee, Market Days, and neighborhood-focused events like the Multicultural Festival at Keach Park, organizers and small businesses are collaborating to make Concord's streets livelier and more inclusive.
