Colby Hill Inn Receives 'Best of New England' Designation from Yankee Magazine

The Colby Hill Inn has been recognized as an 2012 “Editors’ Choice” winner in Yankee Magazine’s Travel Guide to New England on newsstands now. This designation is awarded by Yankee’s editors and contributors, who name select restaurants, lodgings, and attractions in New England to the exclusive list. For 36 years, Yankee Magazine’s Travel Guide to New England has been the most widely distributed and best-selling guide to New England travel. The Colby Hill Inn was recognized as an Editors’ Choice for Best Gourmet Getaway.

Yankee‘s Best of New England described the inn by saying, “Food and wine are the focus here, as a recipient of the Wine Spectator award for seven years. Try the “Gourmet Getaway” package and ask for cranberry caramel almond pancakes: a recipe that brought the inn to the 2008 finals of the National Pancake Contest.”

Innkeeper and owner, Mason Cobb said, “This is a great opportunity to be honored by Yankee as a Best of New England Editor’s Choice winner. We’ve always prided ourselves on a great lodging and dining experience. It’s nice to be recognized by Yankee.”
