For the past seven months I have been developing a new documentary film called Runner Without A Country about Concord's own Guor Marial, the refugee Olympic marathon runner who ran in the London Olympics without a country. Today we are unveiling a little teaser of the film, Check it out here:
I am the director of the fim and so you know a bit about my background, the last film I was a Line Producer on, If A Tree Falls, was nominated for an Academy Award last year.

When I first read about this story before the Olympics I was blown away. Immediately I got in touch with Guor, the now famous runner, and we both agreed that his whole story needed to be told. So, I trusted my gut and without a budget I boarded a plane to film in London.
If you think this is a worthy endeavor it would mean the world to me if you spread the word by posting this Facebook and Twitter and forwarding this . It makes a huge difference. Here it is the link again: http://kck.st/YkJytP

By supporting the film you'll literally get Guor on a plane home to South Sudan with a camera for the first time in 20 years.
For people who support the film there are some great rewards like a meet and greet with Guor himself when he comes back to Concord.
