France named executive director of NH Coalition Against Domestic and Sexual Violence

The New Hampshire Coalition Against Domestic and Sexual Violence is pleased to announce that Kimberly France has been named as the new executive director, beginning Jan. 9.
Kimberly most recently was the interim executive director for the New Hampshire Retirement System, where she held many responsibilities throughout her tenure that included communications, human relations and working with the legislature. Kimberly also worked in human resources for the state judicial branch and was the Public Relations and Marketing Manager for the state economic development division.
“Kimberly brings very strong leadership and executive director experience”, said Steve Varnum, board chairman for the Coalition. “Her team-oriented leadership style will serve to strengthen the Coalition as we move forward into a new era.”
In June, longtime Executive Director Grace Mattern left the Coalition after 30 years of service.
“I am honored and excited to lead such a dynamic and strong organization,” said France. “Everyone deserves to live a life free of violence and abuse, and our frontline work to support survivors and prevent future violence is vital to see this vision become a reality.”
Kimberly lives in Warner with her husband and two children.
