Why are you seeking elective office?
I believe that Concord residents do not truly have a voice that represents them in the state house. Someone that will stand up against an Income and a Sales tax. Someone that will support our law enforcement agencies that risk their lives day in and day out to support OUR community. Wanting to be the voice in Concord that people can be proud of.
The single most pressing issue facing our (board, district, etc.) is _______, and this is what I intend to do about it.
What Concord residents should be most concerned about is a sales and an income tax coming to New Hampshire. These are two bills I would never be in favor of.
What are the critical differences between you and the other candidates seeking this post?
My opponent does not have middle income family's in mind like she claimed she would this past cycle. Claiming to want to help them and show economic growth. Her only legislation that was put forth was bills having too do with animal rights. NH HB1387
Prohibiting the declawing of cats.
NH HB1388
Prohibiting the sale of cats, dogs, and rabbits in retail stores.
NH HB1389
Relative to criminal penalties for not providing adequate food, water, and shelter for animals.
NH HB1560
Defining "serious harm" to an animal as a result of animal cruelty and relative to the criminal penalties for certain negligent actions which cause serious harm to or the death of an animal
NH HB1683
Prohibiting the docking of dog tails and the cropping of dog ears.
While these are all worthwhile causes too take up it has absolutly nothing too do with helping middle income families that she promised she would be assisting. By the way these all failed to come laws.
If you are a challenger, in what way has the current board or officeholder failed the community (or district or constituency)
Failed promises and has been in office with minimal achievements failing to represent the people that elected her.
Describe the other issues that define your campaign platform
Having common sense in a very disheveled county. Taking local issues that effect people on a daily basis and making them heard at the state level and have actions taken to help people.
What accomplishments in your past would you cite as evidence you can handle this job?
I have held many leadership positions in many different organizations. Those groups include Kiwanis , Key Club, HOBY, Immaculate Heart of Mary Church. This local organizations allow me to know members of the community and be the boots on the ground to help people in need.
The best advice ever shared with me was …
Best advice..... Campaign like you are always one vote behind- ( Ray Burton)
What else would you like voters to know about yourself and your positions?
I am a life long resident of Concord. I chose to come back to Concord after college and start a family. I want my son to have the wonderful upbringing I had in this amazing city. I want him to involve himself in Kiwanis , Church and Sports. I want those opportunities I had to be there for him. I have common sense ideas that have made me very successful in all the enterprises I have taken on. I want to be able to help the people on Concord.
