Andrew Yang: 'We're Going To Shock The World In February'
Watch: The entrepreneur and first-in-the-nation 2020 candidate running for the Democrat's presidential nomination is having a good time.
CONCORD, NH — First-in-the-nation presidential primary candidate Andrew Yang spent New Year's Eve and New Year's Day campaigning around the state of New Hampshire. At noon Thursday, he'll be shooting the breeze as well as hoops at Concord High School while making a pitch to lower the voting age. He will also open an office in Plymouth at 4 p.m. and host a town hall in Rochester at the Governor's Inn & Restaurant at 7 p.m.
In Concord Tuesday, crowds were turned away from Chuck's Barbershop on Low Avenue, a relatively new lounge downtown disguised as a prohibition speakeasy, because the establishment was at capacity. The candidate arrived a tad late but offered a stump speech and took selfies with voters and supporters who deem themselves members of the "Yang Gang."
During a short interview with New Hampshire Patch, he spoke about how much fun he was having, why the campaign was inviting voters to bars around the state for NYE, and how he could bring the country together while winning the presidency in 2020.
