Annual Meeting and Citizen of the Year Celebration Held Nov. 4

The Greater Concord Chamber of Commerce will host the 96th annual event at the Grappone Conference Center.

The Greater Concord Chamber of Commerce will celebrate its 96th Annual Meeting on Wednesday, Nov. 4, 2015, at 5 p.m. at the Grappone Conference Center at 70 Constitution Avenue in Concord.

The event is presented by Bank of America.

Joining as guest speakers and to provide commentary on the upcoming presidential election are Sasha Issenberg, political reporter and author of The Victory Lab; Steve Peoples, national political reporter for Associated Press; Peter Hamby, head of news at Snapchat, formerly of CNN; and Jonathan Martin, lead political reporter for the New York Times.

The evening begins with a cocktail reception at 5 p.m. Dinner hour begins at 6:15 p.m. and will include remarks from outgoing chairman, Byron Champlin of Lincoln Financial Group, and incoming chairman, Gary Miller of Unitil.

The evening culminates in the presentation of the Chamber’s annual Citizen of the Year Award, the recipient of which is kept top secret until the final moments of the event.
