Apartment And Brush Fires Reported In Concord: Watch
Concord firefighters were sent to an apartment fire on School Street a reignited brush fire at the quarries Wednesday.
CONCORD, NH — Concord firefighters had another busy day Wednesday after being called to an apartment fire as well as reignited brush fire in the city.
At just before 10:45 a.m., fire and rescue teams were sent to a house fire on School Street near Hanover Street. When they arrived, they found a small fire from a second floor apartment. Firefighters quickly put out the fire and are still on the scene investigating the cause at pos time.
At 12:30 p.m., firefighters, including the department's forestry team, were sent to Little Pond Road for a brush fire. According to dispatch, about a 600 square foot area in the quarries that was on fire Tuesday had reignited.

Teams are still in the quarries working to extinguish the brush fire at post time.
