I am running for Merrimack County Register of Deeds. I come with experience from working at the Hillsborough County Register of Deeds in Nashua, NH where I was a Recorder from 2016-2018. At that time, I left that position to run for Register of Deeds for that county. I also have managed a medical office for the last 30 years. I am looking to leave that position and start my career here in Merrimack County serving the community.
Since then, my family has relocated to the Concord area and currently I live in Henniker, New Hampshire on beautiful Long Pond. Recently, my husband and I celebrated 36 years of marriage. I have three grown children, two of them are married; Adam 34, Ashley 32, and our youngest Breanna 28. I am a fur-mama of two Beagles, and a Grandmother of one sweet girl and on August 9th our 1st Grandson was born.

Why are you seeking elective office?
I am transitioning away from healthcare. I loved my job at Hillsborough County Deeds office. Since moving to Merrimack County, I would love to get back to doing that. I found my job at the county very interesting and rewarding. I feel with my background I would be an excellent choice for this position.
The single most pressing issue facing our (board, district, etc.) is _______, and this is what I intend to do about it.
The Deeds office is all computerized. With this technology systems are updated frequently and require someone being able to adapt to those changes, sometimes with short notice.
This job also requires the state statutes to be adhered to. I would not only be responsible for running the Merrimack County Registry but upholding the state recording requirements as well.
What are the critical differences between you and the other candidates seeking this post?
I have had experience working for the registry in Hillsborough County from 2016-2018. I also have over 34 experience as a medical Practice Manager ensuring that the office runs smoothly and efficiently. Our office went from a paper system to completely digital in 2010. I was responsible for the transition to run smoothly and not affect the day to day operations. I was responsible for ensuring that Medical records adhered to the state statutes as well as HIPAA compliance. One needs to be able to adapt to a constantly changing environment.
If you are a challenger, in what way has the current board or officeholder failed the community (or district or constituency)
Describe the other issues that define your campaign platform.
What accomplishments in your past would you cite as evidence you can handle this job?
Transitioning our Practice to electronic format for patient records as well as billing.
The best advice ever shared with me was:
In life there are no free lunches
What else would you like voters to know about yourself and your positions?
A lot of people do not realize the Register Of Deeds is a government office that is also an elected position. Your Register Of Deeds office is responsible for maintaining, recording, and preserving legal documents and notices, such as deeds, mortgages, liens and various other legal documents. I feel with my background I would be an excellent choice. I look forward to serving the community of Merrimack County.
