Arizona Man Arrested For Running Naked on South Main Street

Concord woman also arrested after early morning incident.

For those who were still drinking in Downtown Concord during the early morning hours of Aug. 23, it was reportedly quite a show.

According to police reports, officers were called to South Main Street a little after 1 a.m. near The Draft Bar & Grill for a report of a man running up and down the street with no clothes on. Upon arrival, an officer noticed two pairs of shoes, a purse, and a shirt strewn around the street and reportedly observed a man in long dreadlocks pulling up his pants. A woman was standing by the man, according to the report.

The man, later identified as Kyle Louis Kowaleski, 40, of Tempe, Ariz., allegedly zipped and fastened his pants and belt buckle, according to the report.

When the officer asked what was going on, the couple reportedly said they were fine and waiting for a cab.

The woman, Gina Anzalone, 29, of Concord, reportedly didn’t have an ID, and Kowaleski allegedly became confrontational with the officers.

“I know my constitutionalism and don’t have to tell you my name,” the officer alleged Kowaleski said.

Eventually, Anzalone said his name was “Lotus.”

Another officer stood by while the reporting officer began talking to witnesses.

One, a bartender at the restaurant, alleged that the couple had come in around 10 minutes before closing and ordered drinks. However, the bartender said, neither drank the drinks, they dumped them out. The couple then exited the establishment for a cigarette and the next thing the bartender knew, Kowaleski was allegedly naked standing in the middle of the street.

Kowaleski then allegedly started running around in the street with cars, reportedly attempting not to hit him. Another witness also alleged that Kowaleski was running around and reportedly took a picture of him.

Kowaleski was then arrested and charged with indecent exposure and lewdness and disorderly conduct.

While one officer was inside the restaurant gathering witness statements, Anzalone allegedly struck another officer outside, according to the report, and was arrested and charged with possession of controlled drugs and simple assault (personal weapons).

The other officer alleged that Anzalone had marijuana in her purse, according to the report.

During processing, a glass pipe with residue was allegedly found in purse, along with a baggy of marijuana and rolling papers.

While in a cell, Anzalone reportedly refused to come out of her cell to go through processing and she was later transported directly to the Merrimack County House of Corrections.

Both arraigned on Aug. 23.
