Armed Robbery with Gun Suspect Caught in South Carolina

Justin Richardson, arrested on Happy Day Circle in Hartsville, SC, has seen happier days, according to U.S. Marshals.

CONCORD, NH — Last week’s New Hampshire Fugitive of the Week is in custody, according to the U.S. Marshals Service. Justin C. Richardson, 21, was arrested on Nov. 15, 2016, on an outstanding warrant for failure to appear in court on an armed robbery with a gun charge issued by the Strafford County Sheriff's Office.

Richardson was featured as the fugitive of the week last week and marshals were able to develop information that Richardson was staying at an address on Happy Day Circle in Hartsville, SC, according to Deputy Marshal Jamie Berry.

“The information was immediately passed on to the U.S. Marshal’s Fugitive Task Force in South Carolina, where Richardson was located and arrested without incident,” Berry stated. “Richardson was transported to the Darlington County Jail where he was booked as a fugitive from justice. Richardson will remain in custody and is pending extradition back to New Hampshire.”

According to WMUR-TV, Richardson and his father, Jonathan Richardson, were arrested two years ago for a crime spree and allegedly tied up an elderly woman to a bed in Newington. He had been on the lam since early September.
