CONCORD, NH — Concord police and New Hampshire State Police troopers are investigating a robbery at a store in Penacook on Sunday.
Around 9:30 p.m., dispatch reported the 7-Eleven on Village Street in Penacook was robbed. A man, dressed in black, with black gloves, and a ski mask, pointed a firearm at the clerk and demanded money. The suspect got away with about $100 and some Newport cigarettes, according to dispatch, and fled the area on foot.
While heading to the Thirty Pines store, an officer said he was pulling over at the Cumberland Farms on Fisherville Road because there appeared to be an incident occurring there.

Officers and dispatch had some issues checking the license of the man detained at Cumbies. The name and number did not match the name on file. Later, a man's parent showed up at the store, an officer said.
Meanwhile, at 7-Eleven, police surrounded the store with yellow warning tape and requested people stay off the property. Officers questioned the clerk and attempted to access computer surveillance footage from the store.
According to the video footage, the suspect wore black baggy pants, a black sweatshirt, and black sneakers with white soles. There were also white marks on the top of the suspect’s sneakers, the officer stated.
The officer at Cumbies said the picture did not match the description of the man they had detained. An officer checked the serial number of the man's 9 mm and he was released to the parent.
A K-9 unit was requested to the 7-Eleven and a track started around the store.
An officer, who watched the video, said the suspect appeared to run south toward Borough Road.
Around 10:30 p.m., an officer driving around the area reported seeing a man dressed in black with black sneakers with white soles at the Irving gas station on Fisherville Road. That person, however, was quickly cleared.
A witness, a delivery driver, told police they saw a man dressed in black with a ski mask running down the road near the Subway restaurant. The witness suggested checking Blueberry Lane.
As the K-9 continued to track the suspect, police and the dog ended up on Blueberry Lane, police said.
Later, police headed back to 7-Eleven.
At just before midnight, Concord police and state police cleared the scene.
