UPDATE: Armed Robbery Suspect Turns Himself in to District Court

Jeremy Whitehead allegedly failed to appear in Hillsborough County court; has family, friends in Massachusetts.

UPDATE, 2 p.m. on July 27, 2016: According to Deputy Marshal Jeffrey White, Jeremy Whitehead, who was featured on July 20, 2016, surrendered to the court on July 22, 2016. Based on the timing of the surrendering of Whitehead, it appears to be directly related to the “Fugitive of the Week” feature, he noted. Upon surrendering, the arrest warrant was vacated.

CONCORD, NH — The District of New Hampshire – New Hampshire Joint Fugitive Task Force has been assigned to locate and arrest Jeremy Whitehead, this week’s Fugitive of the Week.

Whitehead, who also has been known to use the alias “Jeremy Crawford Tinkham,” is 30, white, about 6 feet tall, and weighs around 200 lbs. He has brown hair and eyes and light skin tone.

White also has tattoos on his neck, back, chest, head, and right arm, according to an alert.

“Whitehead is currently wanted on a warrant issued by the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office for failure to appear on the offense of armed robbery (knife),” according to Jamie Berry, a deputy marshal. “Whitehead was last known to reside in the Fitchburg, MA, area, where he has family and associates.”

According to the Sentinel & Enterprise, Whitehead was arrested in 2007 for a string of armed robberies in New Hampshire and Massachusetts and also charged with resisting and drug possession.
