Arrest Made in Murder at Concord State Prison

Thomas Milton has been charged with killing Anthony Renzzulla.

New Hampshire Attorney General Joseph Foster and State Police Col. Robert Quinn announced Thursday that an arrest has been made in connection with the homicide of Anthony Renzzulla back in 2011.

Thomas Milton, 30, has been charged with reckless second degree murder in connection with Renzzulla's death. He is also charged with falsifying physical evidence and hindering prosecution.

Milton was arrested in Florida, and will face extradition to New Hampshire for those pending charges.

Renzzulla, 44, was an inmate who was attacked at the Concord State Prison on July 26, 2010. He eventually succumbed to his injuries on Nov. 26, 2011. According to his obituary, Renzzulla was raised in the Seacoast and attended Exeter and Dover schools.

Renzzulla's brain was "shredded" when he was repeatedly kicked in the head during a 2010 attack at the state prison, according to the Union Leader.
