ARREST: Pittsfield Man Faces DWI Charges After Loudon Road Crash

The Concord Police Department supplied the following information. It does not indicate a conviction.

Debbie Gilmore, 44, of Concord, was arrested at 5:15 a.m. on April 18, on a criminal trespass charge. An officer was sent to Pleasant Street for a report that Gilmore was in the building even though she had a no trespass letter issued in November 2013. An officer allegedly found Gilmore on the second floor, “yelling and crying,” trying to get her boyfriend to answer the rooming house door. She placed a box of candy, stuffed animal, and chicken soup outside of the door and was arrested. Gilmore has a court date on June. 2.

Ernest Theodore Miner, 20, of Pittsfield, was arrested at 5:16 a.m. on April 18, and charged with three counts of driving while intoxicated and single counts of conduct after an accident, aggravated driving while intoxicated, unlawful possession of alcohol, and operating without a valid license. Police were called to E.W. Sleeper on Loudon Road for a crash with a Volvo driving into some woods. Before arriving at the scene, an officer came across a young man, who had his face down, walking near the Alton Woods apartment complex. “The young looking male appeared to be having a hard time walking down the sidewalk,” the reporting officer noted, adding that he “exhibited balance problems and was stumbling down the sidewalk.” The officer spoke to the man, Miner, who agreed to perform field sobriety tests and agreed to a portable breath test. A check with dispatch revealed that Miner had no active warrants but also had no license. The registered owner of the Volvo, a Pittsfield woman, was contacted and revealed to be asleep at home but had given another person permission to use the car. Miner was questioned further about the crash up the road and his own condition and later, was taken into custody on the possession of alcohol charge. During the course of the investigation, more charges were issued against Miner. He had a court date on May 5.

Meghan Elizabeth Briere, 30, of Warner, was arrested at 4:55 p.m. on April 18, on a driving after revocation or suspension charge. An officer received a tip from a detective that a gray Saab on Warren Street might be a suspended driver. The officer was able to catch up with the car at School Street and checked and found that the driver, Briere, had a suspended license (Feb. 18, 2013) by the DMV for default of child support. She also had two previous operating after suspension convictions out of Lebanon District Court. She was pulled over on North Spring Street and arrested. She’s due in court on June 2.

Kelly Thibeault, 48, of Penacook, was arrested at 10:50 p.m. on April 18, on two driving while intoxicated charges. A detective pulled over Thibeault, who was driving a Chevrolet SUV, on Village by Allen Street, after she allegedly drove over traffic cones at a detail site. After field sobriety tests, she was arrested. She had a court date on May 5.

Dana Louise Simberkoff Yonaitis, 48, of Concord, was arrested at 10:27 a.m. on April 19, on a driving while intoxicated charge. An officer was called to South State and Thorndike streets for a hit-and-run accident involving a Mini Cooper. The officer arrived at the scene and noticed the car up against the curb with a smashed rearview mirror. The officer began speaking with the driver, Simberkoff Yonaitis, who reported that she didn’t know what happened or how the car was damaged. The officer alleged that Simberkoff Yonaitis’ “speech was slurred and delayed.” When she stepped out of the vehicle to assess the damage, she allegedly stumbled and used the car to catch her balance, according to the report. She reportedly told the officer that she had just returned from Singapore and London and was tired. She agreed to a field sobriety test and was arrested. Later, other officers found the Honda she allegedly hit a couple of blocks away. She had a court date on May 5.

Shawn M. McGrath, 41, of Concord, was arrested at 5:20 a.m. on April 19, and charged with driving while intoxicated and two counts of felony possession of controlled drugs. An officer was sent to Thompson Street near Myrtle for a suspicious vehicle that was idling with its lights on. The officer came in contact with the vehicle, a 2002 Pontiac Grand Am, and saw that the driver was passed out in the driver’s seat. The officer woke up the man, McGrath, who allegedly “appeared confused upon waking up” and had difficulty with his paperwork. He was allegedly slurring his speech and his movements were slow and delayed, according to the report. McGrath allegedly denied drinking or taking medications but agreed to field sobriety tests and was arrested. He had a court date on May 5.

Nicholas T. Grillo, 28, of Lynnfield, MA, was arrested at 1:05 a.m. on April 20, and charged with possession of drugs and possession of controlled drugs. Officers were sent to the Hess gas station on Hall Street for a report that a Ford Escape was parked near the tire air pumps for about 45 minutes. Upon arrival, officers found the driver, Grillo, allegedly sleeping. He reportedly told the officers he was taking a break while heading home from a ski outing. He was questioned for a bit and one of the officers allegedly smelled burnt marijuana in the car. He was later arrested and had a court date on May 19.

Yam Tiwari, 31, of Concord, was arrested at 8:46 p.m. on April 20, on a driving while intoxicated charge. Officers were sent to Christian Avenue for an accident with a Honda crashing into a truck and utility pole. The driver, Tiwari, allegedly showed signs of intoxication, including “swaying heavily” and “glassy bloodshot eyes.” He agreed to field sobriety tests and was arrested. He had a court date on May 5.

Lisa M. Cheney, 47, of Concord, was arrested at 10 p.m. on April 21, on a simple assault charge. Police were called to Pembroke Road for a man claiming that his wife was “intoxicated and throwing things around the residence.” They met with the man who alleged that Cheney had been drinking heavily and he wanted her to stop so he poured her vodka down the drain. She allegedly became irate and tipped a table over and threw his Play Station system across the living room. At another point during the disturbance, she allegedly grabbed another man in the apartment as if “she was going to break his arm.” A witness alleged that Cheney was screaming and grabbed the man. At first, Cheney reportedly denied any assault although allegedly admitted to being upset since her husband poured “all of my check down the drain.” She later allegedly admitted to getting into a scuffle and was arrested. She is due in court on June 2.

Jesse Wesley James, 27, of Concord, was arrested at 9:25 a.m. on April 22, on three felony theft by deception counts from the Walmart on Loudon Road on Feb. 2, Feb. 4, and Feb. 6. James is due in court on June 2.

Jessika Lynn Turner, 26, of Penacook, was arrested at 9:25 a.m. on April 22, on two bench warrants. An officer was sent to Concord District Court to arrest Turner on warrants out of the court for resisting arrest and operating after suspension, with $921 cash to settle. Turner is due in court on June 2.

Todd Edward Spataro, 47, of Concord, was arrested at 11:03 a.m. on April 23, on a criminal mischief charge from April 22, at the CVS on North Main Street. Spataro turned himself to police and is due in court on June 2.

Ashley-Ann Elaine Mullen, 23, a homeless woman now located in Concord, was arrested at 8:17 p.m. on April 23, on three criminal liability for conduct of another charges from Walmart on Feb. 2, Feb. 4, and Feb. 6, at the Walmart on Loudon Road. She was arrested at an apartment on Loudon Road and is due in court on June 2.

Molly Danielle Scardina, 21, of Boscawen, was arrested at 5:35 p.m. on April 24, on a theft by deception charge from April 7, at the Walmart on Loudon Road. She turned herself in to police and is due in court on June 2. 

Perley A. Smith, 61, of Penacook, was arrested at 8:03 p.m. on April 24, on two simple assault charges from April 1, at an apartment on Village Street. He turned himself in to police and is due in court on June 2.
