Arrest Quickly Made In Concord Murder Case

NH AG: Daswan "Dee Bang" Jette, 20, of Concord and Boston, MA, was arrested today on two counts of second-degree murder.

CONCORD, NH — A man has been arrested in connection with a stabbing last night that took the life of a local woman, according to the New Hampshire Attorney General’s Office. Daswan Jette, 20, of Concord and Boston, MA, was arrested on May 31, 2017, and charged with two counts of second-degree murder in the death of Sabrina Galusha, 23. One count, according to Jeffery A. Strelzin, a senior assistant attorney general, and the chief of the homicide unit, was knowing-second-degree; the second count is reckless-second-degree murder.

Galusha, according to an autopsy by the state medical examiner, died due to a stab wound in the chest and the manner of death has been deemed a homicide.

Specifics of the case are not known and Strelzin refused comment in a press briefing earlier today.

The incident, according to investigators, appears to have occurred at the Penacook Place Apartments on Pinehurst Street in Concord. Galusha was assisted after police and firefighters were called to North State Street to give her medical attention.

Galusha, according to friends, worked at the New Hampshire State Hospital and was turning her life around.

Jette is scheduled to be arraigned at 1 p.m. tomorrow in Merrimack County Superior Court.

According to posts online, including his Facebook site and a MeetMe.com dating site, Jette went by the nickname of "Dee Bang" and lived in Boston, MA. At least one picture on Facebook showed him pointing a gun at a camera. His profile video featured him waving around a large wad of bills while listening to rap music.
