ARRESTS: Deerfield Man Charged with Forgery
The following information was supplied by the Concord Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.
Cory Cosseboom, 22, of Deerfield, was arrested at 5:34 p.m. on Jan. 4, and charged with two felony forgery counts, two receiving stolen property charges, and two theft by deception charges. The charges stem from alleged incidents at Granite State Credit Union involving $1,000 worth of transfers against Stoneham Mountain Holdings LLC and $300 in cash on Nov. 8, Nov. 9, and Nov. 15, 2013. Cosseboom had a court date on Feb. 10.
Zachary Michael Belair, 18, of Concord, was arrested at 7:55 p.m. on Jan. 4, on two bench warrants from Dec. 3, 2013, and Dec. 17, 2013, involving unlawful possession of alcohol and operating without a valid license charges. While monitoring traffic on Fisherville Road, an officer observed a 2003 Hyundai Elantra driving with a defective side headlight. The car was pulled over and the woman driving said it wasn’t her car but she would inform the owner about the headlight. Belair was a passenger in the car, had active warrants, and was arrested. The officer alleged that Belair said he thought he had an extension from the court to pay the fines and he was working on it. He’s due in court on Feb. 5.
Dylan Patrick Walsh, 27, of Concord, was arrested at 7:10 p.m. on Jan. 5, and charged with three counts of theft by deception and two counts of default or breach of bail conditions. The charges stem from alleged incidents at Walmart on Loudon Road on Nov. 24, Dec. 2, and Dec. 8, 2013. Video surveillance of the incidents was gathered as evidence, involving about $128. Walsh was being held at the Rockingham County Jail since Dec. 31, 2013, according to a family member. The officer confirmed that he was being held on $2,000 cash bail due to charges in that county. The officer visited Walsh, informed him of the new charges, and he was arraigned on Jan. 6.

Jayson C. Miller, 23, of Concord, was arrested at 1:49 a.m. on Jan. 8, and charged with driving while intoxicated, possession of controlled drugs, a felony, and possession of drugs. While on Warren Street, an officer saw a car with a brake light out make an abrupt left turn into the Durgin Lane Parking Garage across from Margaritas in Bicentennial Square. When the officer tried to conduct a motor vehicle stop, the operator, later identified as Miller, allegedly “quickly got out of the vehicle and began walking back toward Warren Street,” according to the report. Miller was stopped and asked for his license and allegedly smelled like alcohol. Miller allegedly became defensive while slurring his words, according to the report. After some discussion about field sobriety tests, Miller agreed to participate and was later arrested. During process at police headquarters, an officer allegedly found a partial strip of Suboxone in Miller’s front pants pocket. Miller reportedly took about 20 minutes looking at his arrest paperwork and couldn’t make a decision about whether to sign it or not, according to the officer. He was arraigned on Jan. 27.
Lawrence A. Powell, 63, a homeless man now located in Concord, was arrested at 2:10 p.m. on Jan. 9, on a bench warrant. An officer was sent to Fort Eddy Road for an intoxicated man who had reportedly fallen down. The man, Powell, was allegedly highly intoxicated and could not talk or stand on his own. He also had an active bench warrant out of Manchester, with $1,000 cash bail. Powell was taken to Concord Hospital for treatment and refused bail.

Kimber Collins, 25, of Franklin, was arrested at 1:25 a.m. on Jan. 11, on two driving while intoxicated charges as well as possession of drugs and possession of controlled drugs. While clocking radar at Beech and Village streets in Penacook, an officer tagged a car going 47 mph in a 30 zone and followed the vehicle until High Street, where the 2005 Toyota Corolla was pulled over. When asked for a license and registration, the officer alleged that the female driver couldn’t find her license. The officer alleged that the woman smelled like alcohol and noticed a 12-pack of Bud Light in the rear passenger seat. The driver, Collins, later found her license, and reportedly explained that she was the designated driver and they were just coming from the Szechuan Gardens on Fisherville Road. Collins allegedly said she had taken Summer Street to get to the highway and she and the officer began discussing the best way to get to the highway. Collins later agreed to field sobriety test while other officers arrived at the scene. She was later arrested. During breathalyzer tests, Collins allegedly blew a 0.11 and 0.12. Officers allegedly later found two pipes with marijuana residue. Collins was also given a summons for speeding. She was arraigned on Jan. 27.
Julie Hunter, 21, of Deerfield, was arrested at 2 p.m. on Jan. 11, on a driving while intoxicated charge. At around 1:30 p.m., an off-duty Canterbury Police sergeant reported to Concord Police that there was a Nissan Altima that had driven into a snow bank in a median outside of the McDonald’s Restaurant on South Main Street at West Street. The officer met the sergeant who stated that he went to help the female driver but later realized that she might be impaired. The Concord officer went to speak to the driver, Hunter, who reportedly said she was going to get a haircut, got lost, and while looking at her GPS, crashed into a snow bank. The officer alleged that Hunter’s responses to questions “were very delayed” and she “would randomly laugh before and after certain statements that would not normally warrant such a response.” Hunter agreed to field sobriety tests and was later arrested. She was arraigned on Jan. 27.
Kayla M. Marcellino, 21, of Pembroke, was arrested at 1:25 a.m. on Jan. 12, on driving after revocation or suspension and suspended registration (operating-misd) charges. While on North Main Street an officer noticed a 2004 Honda Civic stopped at Centre Street with a driver’s side brake light that was out. The officer approached the vehicle to speak to the driver, Marcellino, about the issue. Later, dispatch advised that her driving privileges were suspended on Dec. 23, 2013, on a default on a court summons. She was arrested and arraigned on Feb. 10.
Peter James, 35, of Manchester, was arrested at 12:27 p.m. on Jan. 13, on a felony theft by unauthorized taking or transfer from Dec. 2, 2013, at the Sears on Loudon Road, allegedly involving a stolen U.S. Polo Association watch valued at $35 and a men’s bracelet valued at $100. James turned himself in to police and was released on $25,000 personal recognizance bail. He was arraigned in court on Feb. 10.
Jermaine Perry Jones, 23, of Concord, was arrested at 1:10 p.m. on Jan. 15, on a simple assault (personal weapons) charge. Officers were called to a domestic disturbance on Village Street where a woman claimed her that her boyfriend punched her in the face. The reporting officer noted that he was familiar with the couple since he had been to a previous incident at the home on Nov. 10, 2013. The officer reported that the woman had “fresh blood” on her face and was upset. Jones, the boyfriend, reportedly told one of the officers that his girlfriend was angry because she thought he was talking to other women on his cellphone. When he turned his back, she reached for his arm and phone. “Jones said at that point she pulled it back on his hand hitting herself in the face,” according to the report. The woman told an officer that she was trying to speak with Jones about their relationship issues and he reportedly turned his back to her while on the phone. She attempted to get his attention and didn’t touch him, she said, and then Jones allegedly “started to throw his elbows back at her striking her in the mouth area.” Jones was arrested and released on $2,000 personal recognizance bail. He’s due in court on Feb. 24.
