ARRESTS: Laconia Teen Allegedly Steals XBOX Games at Best Buy

The following information was supplied by the Concord Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

  • Donald S. Syphers, 57, of Canaan, was arrested on Nov. 4, on a criminal threatening (intimidation, etc.) charge. He was arrested at the Merrimack County Attorney’s Office on Court Street at 7:41 a.m. Cash bail was set at $5,000. He was arraigned on Nov. 5.
  • Brent D. Prescott, 54, of Weare, was issued a summons at 1:15 p.m. on Nov. 5, on a theft by unauthorized taking or transfer charge from the Market Basket on Storrs Street. Police allege he stole various food items valued at around $40. He is due in court Dec. 10.
  • Sarah Hardy, 38, of Concord, was arrested at 1:21 p.m. on Nov. 5, on a criminal liability and conduct of another charge. The charge stems from an alleged incident at 8:21 a.m. on Nov. 4, at the Market Basket on Storrs Street. Personal recognizance bail was set at $2,000. Hardy is due in Sixth Circuit District Division Court on Dec. 10.
  • Austin Brue, 19, of Laconia, received a summons at 10:52 p.m. on Nov. 5, on a theft charge. The charge stems from an alleged incident at Best Buy on D’Amante Drive from Oct. 16. Police allege that he stole $345 worth of xBox video games. He is due in court on Dec. 17.
  • Daniel Donato, 23, of Berlin, was arrested on Nov. 6, and charged with two counts of stalking. The charges stem from alleged incidents from 9 a.m. earlier in the day. The alleged victims were a Concord woman, who was an acquaintance, and a Concord man. Cash bail was set at $200 and he has a court date on Dec. 10.
  • Nancy P. McMann, 50, of Concord, was arrested on Nov. 6, on a simple assault (personal weapons) charge. She was arrested at 4:54 p.m. on 24 Centre Street. The alleged victim in the case was a Concord woman who was also her stepchild. Personal recognizance bail was set at $2,000 and she had a court date on Nov. 7.
  • Emily Meagan Caldrain Harpell, 33, of Belmont, was arrested on Nov. 9, on a driving while intoxicated charge. She was arrested at 1:16 a.m. at the intersection of South Main and Water streets. Personal recognizance bail was set at $1,000. Harpell is due in Sixth Circuit District Division Court on Dec. 10.
  • Caitlyn W. Labrie, 18 of Concord, was arrested at 10 a.m. on Nov. 9, and charged with receiving stolen property and default or breach of bail conditions. The charges stem from alleged incident at Merrimack Valley High School on 106 Village Street. Personal recognizance bail was set at $2,000. Labrie had a court date on on Nov 19.
  • Joshua L. Atkinson, 32, of Boscawen, was arrested on Nov. 10, on two counts of driving while intoxicated. He was arrested at 1:50 a.m. near the boat ramp on Sewalls Falls Road. Personal recognizance bail was set at $1,000. Atkinson is due in Sixth Circuit District Division Court on Dec. 10.
  • Diane A. Roberts, 57, of Concord, was arrested on Nov. 10, on a simple assault (other) charge. She was arrested at 10:30 p.m. on 11 Merrimack Street in Penacook. The alleged victim in the case was her spouse, a Concord man.
  • Jeremy D. Murray, 25, of Manchester, was arrested at 12:04 a.m. on Nov. 11, on a simple assault (personal weapons) charge. The charge stems from an alleged incident at 10:30 p.m. on July 6, on Warren Street. The alleged victim in the case was a teenager from Concord man who was a stranger to Murray. Personal recognizance bail was set at $2,000. Murray is due in Sixth Circuit District Division Court on Dec. 10.
  • Barbara Ann Nixon, 30, of Concord, was arrested on Nov. 11, on two counts of driving while intoxicated. She was arrested at 1:18 a.m. at the intersection of North Main and School streets. Personal recognizance bail was set at $1,000. Nixon had a court date on Dec. 3.
  • Barbara Rose McNair, 53, of Concord, was arrested on Nov. 11, on a simple assault (personal weapons) charge. She was arrested at 4:45 p.m. on Garvins Falls Road. The alleged victim in the case was her spouse, a Concord man. Personal recognizance bail was set at $2,000. McNair is due in Sixth Circuit District Division Court on Dec. 10.
  • David E. Smith, 53, of Concord, was arrested at 4:45 p.m. on Nov. 11, and charged with theft by unauthorized taking, a felony, and two forgery charges, both felonies. The charges stem from alleged incidents at Rumford Street and Walmart on Loudon Road, on Sept. 20, and Sept. 21. The alleged victim in the case was an elderly Concord woman who was an acquaintance. Police allege that Smith stole two checks and forged them for $500. Personal recognizance bail was set at $15,000. Smith is due in Sixth Circuit District Division Court on Dec. 10.
  • Derek M. Olivera, 29, of Concord, was arrested on Nov. 11, and charged with operating without a valid license and driving without giving proof. He was arrested at 11:30 p.m. at the Cumberland Farms Exxon on North Main Street. Personal recognizance bail was set at $2,000. Olivera is due in Sixth Circuit District Division Court on Dec. 10.
