ARRESTS: Man Allegedly Caught with Drugs While Stealing from Sears

The following information was supplied by the Concord Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

  • Cody L. Dickinson, 30, of Concord, was arrested at 10:30 p.m. on Nov. 24, and charged with possession of prescription drugs without a prescription and theft. According an arrest report, officers were called to Sears at the Steeplegate Mall around 9:45 p.m. for a theft report. The reporting officer arrived at the scene while other officers had stopped a vehicle near the automotive bays of the store. The people involved in the stop included Dickinson, a woman, and an infant in the car. A loss prevention employee at the store reported that he allegedly saw a jacket on top of a baby carriage at one point while the couple visited but after the carriage reappeared from behind a display, the jacket was allegedly missing. After the couple left the area, the employee checked the area and couldn’t find the jacket. The couple later reportedly left the store via the merchandise pickup area without paying for anything. Two loss prevention officers attempted to stop the couple but they continued to walk away from the employees. Police were called and arrived at the scene, stopping the couple. Employees later allegedly found numerous tags removed from baby items in an area where the couple were allegedly seen shopping. Police allegedly found baby items “tucked away in the carriage.” The items included a Snozu women’s jacket, four long sleeve body suits by Carter’s for an 18-month old, a flannel hoodie, and infant jeans, all valued at around $141. After being arrested, transported to the Concord Police station, and searched, police allegedly found a single Suboxone tablet in Dickinson’s front pocket. Dickinson was released on $4,040 personal recognizance bail and has a court date on Dec. 31.
  • Christopher Michael Jordan, 45, a homeless man now located in Concord, was arrested at 2:19 p.m. on Nov. 27, on felony burglary charge. The charge stems from an alleged incident on Jasmine Place on Sept. 18. The victims in the case were a Concord man who was an acquaintance and two Concord women. Police allege heroin and marijuana were seized from Jordan during the investigation. Jordan had a court date on Nov. 27.
  • Maurice E. Duncan, 36, of Concord, was arrested on Nov. 28, and charged with driving after revocation or suspension and suspended registration (operating-misd). He was arrested at 8:48 a.m. at the intersection of North State Street and Hillcrest Avenue. Personal recognizance bail was set at $1,000. Duncan is due in Sixth Circuit District Division Court on Dec. 31.
  • Timothy E. Furlow, 38, of Concord, was arrested on Nov. 28, for bail jumping and a bench warrant. He was arrested at 11:06 a.m. on Hazel Drive. The bail jumping charge stems from a Sept. 24, Sixth Circuit Court date. Cash bail was set at $500 and Furlow had a court date on Nov. 29.
  • Kimberly Burns, 28, of Concord, was arrested on Nov. 28, and charged with suspended registration (operating-misd), driving without giving proof, and driving after revocation or suspension. She was arrested at 12:29 p.m. at the intersection of Fisherville Road and Rex Drive. Personal recognizance bail was set at $3,000. Burns is due in Sixth Circuit District Division Court on Dec. 31.
  • Thomas R. Yorkshaitis, 28, a homeless man now located in Concord, was arrested at 2:08 p.m. on Nov. 27, on a felony theft charge. Police allege that Yorkshaitis stole a $2,800 mountain bike from Eastern Mountain Sports on Fort Eddy Road on Oct. 18. He had a court date on Nov. 28.
  • Meghan Mulcahy, 19, of Gorham, received a summons at 5:45 p.m. on Nov. 28, for theft by unauthorized taking or transfer from the JC Penny in the Steeplegate Mall on Loudon Road. Police allege that she stole two pairs of yoga pants valued at $50. She is due in court on Dec. 31.
  • Alyssa J. Norton, 21, a homeless woman now located in Concord, was arrested on Nov. 28, and charged with resisting arrest or detention and default or breach of bail conditions. She was arrested at 9:27 p.m. in Bicentennial Square. The alleged victim in the case was a Concord police officer. Norton refused bail and had a court date on Nov. 29.
  • George J. Melanson, 35, of Concord, was arrested at 7:34 a.m. on Nov. 29, on a driving after revocation or suspension charge. The charge stems from an alleged incident on Loudon Road on Nov. 5. Personal recognizance bail was set at $2,000. Melanson is due in Sixth Circuit District Division Court on Dec. 31.
  • Shawna B. Arnold, 26, of Laconia, was arrested at 9:50 a.m. on Nov. 29, on a theft by unauthorized taking or transfer charge. The charge stems from an alleged incident at Walmart on Loudon Road on June 7. Police allege that Arnold stole $500 worth of DVDs. Personal recognizance bail was set at $2,000. Arnold is due in Sixth Circuit District Division Court on Dec. 31.
  • Cheryl L. Gagne, 26, of Henniker, was arrested on Nov. 29, on a bench warrant. She was arrested at 11:21 a.m. at the intersection of Bog Road and Cabernet Drive. Personal recognizance bail was set at $500 and Gagne had a court date on Nov. 30.
  • Thomas Burke, 29, of Concord, was arrested at 6:30 a.m. on Nov. 30, on a theft by unauthorized taking or transfer charge, a felony. Police allege that Burke stole a Capital Region Food Program donation can on Nov. 17, with about $15 worth of money in it. Burke refused bail and was arraigned on Nov. 30.
  • William Cook, 19, of Warner, was arrested on Nov. 30, on a driving after revocation or suspension charge. He was arrested at 9:20 a.m. on Loudon Road. Personal recognizance bail was set at $2,000. Cook is due in Sixth Circuit District Division Court on Dec. 31.
  • Jonathan R. LaFond, 22, of Concord, was arrested on Nov. 30, and charged with possession of controlled drugs, reckless conduct; place another in danger, and criminal mischief (vandalism). He was arrested at 1:15 p.m. on North State Street. The alleged victim in the case was a Winchester man and a Swanzey security company. LaFond was allegedly in possession of an ounce of marijuana. Police reportedly seized a Daisy BB rifle and a pellet handgun from LaFond. Cash bail was set at $5,000 and LaFond had a court date on Dec. 3.
