ARRESTS: Teens Caught Drinking on Roof of Downtown Building

The following information was supplied by the Concord Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

  • Kyle Bruce Warriner, 18, of Concord, was arrested at 9:20 p.m. on June 19, on an unlawful possession of alcohol charge. Officers were dispatched to Pleasant Street for a report of juveniles hanging around a fire escape on North State Street. Upon reaching the top of the roof of the building, an officer allegedly observed two males drinking from 24-ounce cans of Genesee Ice Beer. One of the men, Warriner, was known to the officer due to previous encounters, according to the report. The officer spoke to the men and asked them how they got onto the roof of the building. Later, one requested not to be arrested while Warriner reportedly said he had been trying to stay out of trouble since February. The teens were walked down from the building and then placed under arrest. Warriner was arrested and later, released on personal recognizance bail. He is due in court on July 29.
  • Alyssa M. Etheridge, 20, of Concord, was arrested at 7:22 p.m. on June 25, on a simple assault (personal weapons) charge.
  • Janet J. Potter, 47, of Concord, was arrested at 7:35 p.m. on June 25, on a simple assault (personal weapons) charge. An officer was called to Pinewood Trail for a report of a domestic between a stepmother and stepdaughter. The officer first spoke with Etheridge who reportedly stated that her friend had mentioned that during a phone conversation with Potter’s daughter, she thought the daughter was rude. Potter then allegedly began yelling at Etheridge and her friend. The two then began fighting and pushing each other, Etheridge alleged. The officer reported that Potter’s witness statement was consistent with Etheridge’s and they were both arrested. Both were released on personal recognizance bail and are due in court on July 29.
  • Gavin R. Guay, 21, of Franklin, was arrested at 8:14 p.m. on June 25, on a warrant. An officer was called to Maple Street for a domestic between a man and woman. While investigating the incident, a police sergeant reported catching up to the man in front of the Concord Public Library. The man, Guay, reportedly had a warrant out for his arrest on a bail jumping charge from Concord District Court, with $500 cash to settle. Guay was arrested and later, couldn’t come up with the money, so he was taken to jail and arraigned from the Merrimack County House of Corrections on June 26.
  • Kyle Buffum, 21, of Concord, was arrested at 11:55 p.m. on June 25, on a facilitating a drug or underage alcohol house party.
  • Nicholas Legrow, 20, of Concord, was arrested at 11:55 p.m. on June 25, on a facilitating a drug or underage alcohol house party. Officers were called to Concord Street for a warrant service for both Buffum and Legrow in connection with a party at the home on June 9. Both were taken into custody and charged. They were both released on personal recognizance bail and are due in court on July 29.
  • Dhana Bastola, 24, of Concord, was arrested at 6:50 a.m. on June 30, on a bench warrant. An officer was called to Loudon Road for a report of a Toyota Yaris that had been damaged. Bastola was next to the vehicle and pointed out that the driver’s side front window had been smashed. After running his name through the computer system, an electronic bench warrant from June 21, was flagged, with $150 cash to settle, for nonpayment of a fine after a driving after revocation or suspension charge. Bastola came up with $190 to pay the bail commissioner before being arrested. He was released later that day.
  • Paul B. Blanche, 46, of Concord, was arrested at 11:43 a.m. on July 1, on a driving after revocation or suspension charge. The charge stems from an alleged incident outside The Draft on South Main Street on June 22. Blanche turned himself into police at the headquarters. He was later released on $1,000 personal recognizance bail and is due in court on Aug. 12.
  • Selket Taylor, 23, of Boscawen, was arrested at 9:27 a.m. on July 2, on a criminal mischief (vandalism) charge. An officer was dispatched to Rumford Street for a past tense domestic incident. A woman alleged that she had been involved in an argument with Taylor around 7:25 a.m. She alleged that he had taken her Samsung cellphone, valued at $179, and thrown it against a wall in her apartment. The officer eyed the cellphone and saw that it had multiple cracks on the screen. The officer called Taylor and asked him to come to the station. He allegedly denied breaking the phone and said he was trying to fix it after the phone had struck some hard object. Taylor reportedly asked the officer to allow him to just pay for the phone, which led the officer to believe he actually smashed it. Taylor was arrested and later, released on $1,000 personal recognizance bail and is due in court on Aug. 5.
  • Norma Iris Slusarczyk, 57, of Concord, was arrested at 11:51 a.m. on July 2, on a theft by unauthorized taking or transfer charge. The charge stems from an alleged incident on March 25, from Donovan’s Party & Novelty on Fort Eddy Road involving a stolen Willow Tree Good Health valued at $16.99. Slusarczyk, according to the report, was interviewed by police on April 2. She turned herself into police and was released on $500 personal recognizance bail and is due in court on Aug. 5.
