Roemer to Hold Twitter Town Hall
Americans Elect candidate will use social media Thursday to answer questions.

Former Republican president candidate will be holding a Twitter Town Hall meeting at 4 p.m. on Thursday, April 12.
The online only outreach effort is being put together to help the former Louisiana governor and Representative to Congress help answer questions voters have, in an effort to gain access to the Americans Elect ballot slate.
To participate in the forum, watch Roemer’s Twitter feed, @BuddyRoemer or visit his dedicated site for the event. To ask a question, simply add the tag #AskBuddy to the question and then revisit his Twitter feed on April 10.

Americans Elect is calling itself “the first direct presidential nomination.” In 26 days, it will hold the first round of caucuses to winnow out the field and then, will hold an online nomination process in June. Anyone can participate by logging onto the effort’s website and entering in your voter registration information.
Currently, of the declared candidates, Roemer has the most supporters, more than 3,000, with Rocky Anderson, the former mayor of St. Lake City, Utah, with more than 1,500. Laurence Kotlikoff, a professor of economics at Boston University has the third most declared supporters, at just less than 1,000.

Draft candidates include U.S. Rep. , former Utah Gov. , and U.S. Sen. Bernie Sanders, I-Vermont.
