Candlelit beauty, age-old carols, and compelling readings define the now globally popular Christmas tradition of Lessons and Carols. Composer and conductor Nicholas White, Chair of the Arts and Director of Chapel Music at Saint Paul’s School, will discuss the English roots of the beloved holiday tradition, tracing it from its beginnings at King’s College Cambridge to its spread worldwide. White is music director for Saint Paul’s School’s annual Service of Lessons and Carols.
