Backpack Giveaway Events Planned At Concord, Franklin, And Suncook McDonald's Locations Wednesday

CONCORD, NH — Eight McDonald's restaurants in New Hampshire are scheduled to take part in a free backpack giveaway for students on Aug. 5 as part of the Golden Arches Pack Giveback Program.

The events are planned from 4 to 6 p.m. at participating locations, according to information provided about the program.

The giveaway is being organized by local McDonald's owner-operators across New England. The effort is intended to support families and students preparing for the new school year. Many of the events will also include partnerships with schools, nonprofits, and local elected officials.

The participating New Hampshire restaurants are 85 Peterborough St. in Jaffrey, 77 Turnpike St. in Suncook, 111 Fisherville Road in Concord, 710 Lafayette Road in Seabrook, 75 Derry Road in Hudson, 161 Wakefield St. in Rochester, 822 Central St. in Franklin, and 316 W. Main St. in Hillsborough.

The backpacks will be distributed free to students in need during the two-hour event window, while supplies last, with one backpack allowed per student. The student must be present to receive the backpack.
