Man allegedly stole a ring from Sears on Loudon Road.

A Concord city employee was arrested earlier this month on a theft charge, according to arrest reports issued by the .
Nathum E. Dimond, 21, of Concord, was arrested at 6:40 p.m. on July 14, at the on Loudon Road, and charged with theft by unauthorized taking or transfer.
According to police, Dimond alleged stole two rings with hearts on them valued at $138.

, the director of , confirmed that Dimond was a seasonal laborer for the . He was hired last month for $9.23 an hour, working at the .
Dimond was released on $2,000 personal recognizance bail and is due in Sixth Circuit District Division Court on Aug. 20.

Just a few minutes before Dimond’s arrest, a Canterbury man was also arrested and charged with theft by unauthorized taking or transfer.
Colin C. Dowling, 25, of Canterbury, was arrested at 6:32 p.m. after allegedly stealing a $42 polo T-shirt, which was later recovered.
Dowling was released on $2,000 personal recognizance bail and is due in court on Aug. 20.
