Best Bar Comic Contest Held Monday

Need a laugh to end your Labor Day weekend?

It’s time again for the 4th Annual New England’s Best Bar Comic Contest Finals, held at Punchlines at Penuches in Bicentennial Square in Concord on Monday, Sept. 1.

The festivities start at 8 p.m. with the New Hampshire Comedy Awards and then, at 9 p.m., eight finalists will hit the stage competing for a $500 cash prize and four paid spots at Headliners Comedy Club in Manchester, Veronica Laffs Comedy Club in Raymond, Comedy at The Chameleon Club in Dover, and Izzy’s Comedy Room in Farmington.

The eight comics include: Kristin Seltman, Matt Barry, Nick David, Jon O’Hara, Chad Blodgett, Joe Flynn, Alan Richardson, and Katie Grady.
