Best New Hampshire SAUs To Teach In, Average Teacher Salaries

Niche's ranking of school districts in NH that are the best for teachers, as well as their average salaries, offers some surprising results.

CONCORD, NH — Several school districts in Patch communities in the state of New Hampshire are not ranked as the best districts for teachers despite one offering the fourth-highest average salary in the state.

A new ranking by Niche, the education platform that uses several data points as part of its methodology to study K-12 schools and colleges around the United States, showed that 19 of the Top 25 best school districts for teachers had average salaries of $70,000 or more annually.

The Concord School District had the fourth-highest average salary in the state — more than $80,000 annually, but the district did not make the Top 25 list.
