Better Business Bureau of New Hampshire Announces 2017 Torch Awards Finalists
Winners to be announced in the small, medium and large sized business category at 17th Annual Torch Awards event on June 14

Concord, New Hampshire – The Better Business Bureau of New Hampshire (BBB) has selected the finalists for the 17th Annual 2017 Torch Awards for Marketplace Ethics. Finalists include Wheelchair Escapes of Newton; Palmer Gas & Oil of Atkinson; IndoorDoctor of Derry; Blackdog Design/Build/Remodel of Salem; Belknap Dental Associates of Dover; Phaneuf Funeral Homes of Manchester; Single Digits, Inc. of Bedford; and ConCru Cruise Outlet of Moultonborough. The winners in the large, medium and small sized business category will be announced and honored at BBB’s 17th Annual Torch Awards event on Wednesday, June 14 from 5-7:30 pm at the Bedford Village Inn, 2 Olde Bedford Way, Bedford.
“We look forward to recognizing three businesses who have shown dedication in providing exceptional service to the community, while operating ethically and to the highest standards of business,”said Robert Shomphe, president/CEO of BBB. “Our Torch Awards event shines the spotlight on businesses who excel and we are delighted to come together to celebrate on June 14.”
Five recipients of the BBB Student Ethics Scholarship Award will also be announced at the Torch Awards event. These five individuals will each receive a $2,000 cash reward to be used towards their college/university expenses.

The Torch Awards for Marketplace Ethics is designed to promote the importance of ethical business practices and the willingness and efforts made by outstanding businesses to ensure that the marketplace remains fair and honorable. The awards are given out annually to the top small, medium-sized and large business categories based on the number of employees.
