Blustery Weather, Freezing Temperatures Heading To New Hampshire

In the Granite State, expect wind gusts and a slight chance of showers on Friday. Temperatures dip below freezing on Saturday and Sunday.

CONCORD, NH — The “second summer” New Hampshire has been experiencing the past few weeks is about to end, according to weather forecasters.

The National Weather Service is calling for a blustery day on Friday — with a slight chance of showers in the morning and then highs in the low 70s. But it will be breezy, with wind gusts as high as 30 mph. During the evening, expect the gusts to continue with temperatures in the upper 30s.

Sunny skies are expected on Saturday, but temperatures will dip. Highs are expected in the low 50s in Concord and the capital region, and in the mid-50s in Nashua, southern New Hampshire, and on the Seacoast. The wind will be more docile, about 5 to 10 mph. However, overnight, temps are expected to drop into the upper 20s in Concord and lower 30s in Hampton and Portsmouth.
