CONCORD, NH — A body found in the Merrimack River on Sunday is that of a woman missing since last month. Tenneh B. Sese, 29, of Concord, was last seen walking in the area of Manchester Street and Black Hill Road on April 19, 2019. Concord police put out a notice about her disappearance on April 25, after officers spent part of the day searching the area, including the banks of the river, for Sese.

The water level – which is much lower now than it was last month – impeded the search at that time.

A person walking in the area sighted the body in the river on Sunday and called 911. Concord Fire and Rescue teams as well as the state police marine patrol were called to the area for a report of an extraction needed at just before 11:30 a.m. on May 26, about a quarter of a mile from the Manchester Street bridge, according to scanner chatter.
