BOSCAWEN, NH — A man from Boscawen was arrested on Monday on possession of child pornography charges.

An investigation by the department started last year after Concord police informed Boscawen’s department “of potential criminal activity concerning child sexual abuse images at a particular residence in Boscawen,” Chief Jason Killary of the Boscawen Police Department said.

“During the course of the investigation, multiple search warrants were executed and large amounts of evidence were examined,” he said.

The investigation led to charges against Shaun St. Pierre, 42, of Boscawen, on “multiple counts.” He refused bail and is being held at the Merrimack County Jail. St. Pierre is scheduled to be arraigned on Wednesday.

Killary said, along with the Concord Police Department, Amherst and Derry police, the Hillsborough and Merrimack county sheriff’s offices, and the New Hampshire Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force, all participated in the investigation.
