Bow Man Tased After Allegedly Threatening to Shoot Cop
Timothy Hodgman arrested after multi-agency response to Birchdale Road.

A Bow man was arrested last month on numerous charges after an assault incident at his home.
Timothy Hodgman, 46, of Birchdale Road in Bow, was arrested on Dec. 23, and charged with two counts of simple assault, three counts of resisting arrest, and a criminal threatening charge.
According to Bow Police, officers were called to Birchdale Road after receiving a 911 call about an assault incident at the home.

Hodgman allegedly left the house as police arrived and fled into the woods. The Bow K9 team headed into the woods and he was later found but reportedly refused to surrender. Police allege that Hodgman threaten to shoot at the police officer but instead, fled further into the woods.
Concord Police, Dunbarton Police, the Merrimack County Sheriff’s Office, and New Hampshire State Police all reported to the scene to assist in searching the area in an effort to capture Hodgman.

During the search, another officer saw Hodgman and Tased him, and he was taken into custody.
According to Bow Police Sgt. Art Merrigan, Hodgman was held on a probation hold and arraigned the next day.
