Thank You, Concord NH Patch Readers
A Thank You for award received from The Concord Patch!

I am truly honored and very humbled to be the Best Elected/Favorite Official for Concord in the .
When I heard I had been nominated, I couldn't believe that I would win this let alone be in the same category with some outstanding people. I have the highest respect for everyone in this category.
I have tried very hard since I became involved in the political circles to help wherever I could. I am not the typical politician in the sense I don't have alot of money to go and out treat potential voters or associate councilors or representatives. I don't have the money when elections come around to buy buttons, huge signs, ads on television or radio, or different kinds of political stuff. Two years ago, my signs got destroyed by rains and I had to use duct tape to keep them together. That's how sad it is when you don't have funds. I enjoy talking to people asking them what can I do, what issues are bothering them and if it is city issues what's their concerns there. I do alot of research before I vote. If I don't understand something I spend a lot of time talking to people who are involved in the issues being presented. I don't take no until I have exhausted every effort that I can. This honor means so much to me. Thanks again to those who voted for me. I would like to thank my wife Debbie, my family, friends Paul Brogan, James Cusano, Dan Yvars, Tyler Martel, Tom Cusano, Rev. Chris Martel, and Josh Harwood for being such great friends and understanding! Lastly, I would like to accept this honor in memory of my late mother, Maxrene Patten. Helping others to bring a smile to their faces is something she taught me at a very early life. Mom this is for you!
