Bradley Named STAR of the Month

Bank President Rizzi: "Cindy is the engine that makes our organization run smoothly."

The Merrimack is pleased to recognize Cindy Bradley of Epsom, operations administrative assistant, with its Employee STAR of the Month award for March 2013. 

Merrimack STAR awards are distributed monthly and peer-nominated. Cindy has been recognized for her dedication to helping those in need, community leadership and exceptional listening skills. This was the tenth monthly award distributed under the Merrimack’s updated employee STAR program.
 
One of the 12 monthly prizewinners will go on to win the Annual STAR Award which includes a paid vacation day and cash prize.

“It was wonderful to have been able to honor Cindy Bradley this month!” said Paul C. Rizzi, Jr., President and CEO of Merrimack County Savings Bank. “Cindy is the engine that makes our organization run smoothly.”

Paul then read a few examples from the many comments submitted about Cindy by her peers, “Cindy is an active volunteer and donates her time to many efforts. She always demonstrates a ‘giving heart’ and seems to constantly focus on those in need,”

Paul continued, “Cindy is a quiet but very effective leader within the Merrimack. She is the go-to person for so many other employees and is always willing to drop what she is doing to help others. Cindy has vast knowledge of the inner workings of the bank and many of us rely on Cindy for a correct answer delivered quickly, in a very straight forward manner.”

Originally developed in 1997, ‘STAR’ referred to “Standards to Achieve Results”. Today, the term ‘STAR’ has evolved to define exceptional employees, nominated by their peers, who are considerate, work well with everyone and make a habit of ‘going the extra mile’.
 
STARs are monthly, peer-nominated performance awards given to Merrimack employees, chosen by Merrimack employees. From the monthly winners, a STAR of the Year is selected and announced at the annual company dinner. STAR recipients are employees who most embody Merrimack Style, which includes:
