Broken Ground Students are Top Readers
The students logged in more than 106,000 minutes read during the summer.

Broken Ground School Elementary School participated in Scholastic’s Summer Reading Challenge this past summer.
Jane Dodson, the school's reading specialist, encouraged students to log all the minutes they spent reading during the summer weeks and to send pictures in of the most extraordinary places they read.
Kids loved the program and the results showed just that: 106,394 minutes were spent reading by the boys and girls who participated!
Broken Ground School was just recognized by Scholastic for being the top school for minutes read in the entire state!
