Capital Region Food Program gets a hand at Concord event.

The Greater Concord Chamber of Commerce held its annual Business After Hours holiday food drive event at the Grappone Conference Center last night.

Despite the messy weather, hundreds of people were in attendance, donating at least four non-perishable food items to the Holiday Food Basket Project.

Nearly three-quarters of a ton of food was donated to the organization, according to Kathy Bacon of the Chamber.
