May 12th to May 28th

Concord Crew has a new middle school rowing program for 5th-8th graders from Concord or any of the surrounding towns. Spring or Fall there is a 3 week, 2 times per week program where kids can try sculling in a smaller boat and sweeping in a 60ft boat to learn the basics of crew. Crew is such a unique sport, appealing to kids that are sporty and athletic but might not be passionate about mainstream sports or running. 99% of our kids start our program having absolutely no experience, and, pardon the expression, they are all in the same boat at the beginning. We strive to build kids, give them confidence, teach them how to work with each other, teach them respect for each other and teach them the joy of accomplishing.

No experience is necessary for either the middle school or high school program. Swimming skills required.

Seeking both Cox's - the mighty boat drivers in charge AND rowers - the mighty power of the boat.

Open to all youth in 5th grade or above. Concord residency not required. We have kids and teens from over 15 NH schools (homeschool too).

The cost is $150 for the entire session. Our website provider, SportsEngine, adds a small service fee (approx. $6.00) to the registration.

The program runs from Monday, May 12th to Wednesday, May 28th. Practice is from 4:30 PM to 6:45PM. Please arrive to the boathouse ready to row for 4:15PM.

Practices are Monday and Wednesday EXCEPT for the week of May 25th when they will be held on Tuesday, May 27th and Wednesday, May 28th to accommodate the Memorial Day holiday.
