Red River Theatres and Creative Guts, both New Hampshire-based nonprofits, have partnered to host the Creative Guts Short Film Festival. For the second year in a row, independent filmmakers from New Hampshire and beyond will have their work exhibited at the three-hour festival at Red River Theatres in Concord, NH, on the evening of Friday, August 22, 2025. Doors will open at 5 pm and films will start playing at 6 pm. Attendees are encouraged to come early for conversation and networking with filmmakers and movie-goers.
The spirit of this festival is to celebrate the creativity, voice, and collaboration of filmmakers, and it will feature creatives of all backgrounds and at various stages in their filmmaking journey.
This event has been awarded with a City of Concord’s Arts Event Grant, which will support the event and allow the public to attend at no cost. This event is also made possible with support from Parker Education, Creative Co-op, and Enterprise Bank.
Tickets to the festival are free. Please visit www.RedRiverTheatres.org to reserve tickets to the festival. Tickets may be obtained at the door if the event has not already filled. Last year’s event nearly sold out, so the public is encouraged to secure their tickets early.
The festival will include 19 films, originating from New Hampshire, Massachusetts, New Jersey, Michigan, New Mexico, Texas, Ireland, India, and Australia. At the conclusion of the film, awards will be presented in six categories.
All films will be open captions. The films in this festival are not rated. Some films contain adult themes, language, or violence, and may not be suitable for children.
