The
Up North Orienteers, in cooperation with the Dartmouth Outing Club,
invite everyone to come try orienteering at Burnt Mountain in Lebanon
on Saturday, October 4th. 

The
early autumn, with the leaves starting to turn colors, is a beautiful
time to head out into the woods and try the sport of orienteering.
Orienteering is an easy to learn sport that involves navigating
between points using a map and compass. Think of it as treasure
hunting in the great outdoors. Orienteering is appropriate for people
of all ages and athletic abilities. You can participate individually
or with friends and family. 
 

Participants
may register and start any time between 10:00 AM and 12:30 PM.
Experienced orienteers will be on hand at Burnt Mountain to help
welcome newcomers and help them learn the basics and try their first
course.

Pat Hart (he/they) is the Youth Campaigns Organizer with 350NH, a state-wise climate justice organization. They coordinate and supports the 350NH Youth Team, a diverse group of student activists from across New Hampshire. Their current campaign seeks to address the injustices of PFAS pollution in the state and make polluters pay for the harm they have caused.
