Join the New Hampshire Marine Corps League on Monday, November 10th at the Statehouse for a special ceremony marking the Marine Corps’ 250th Birthday.
📍 New Hampshire Statehouse ⏰ 7:30 AM – Formation for participating Marines, &amp; Commandants’ Messages ⏰ 8:00 AM – Flag Raising (open to the public) ⏰ 8:30 AM –Cake Cutting Ceremony, followed by breakfast in Executive Chambers and Council Chambers with Honorable Governor Ayotte for participating Veterans &amp; guests
This tradition unites Marines past and present in honor of the legacy of Honor, Courage, and Commitment. We welcome the entire community to come out, observe, and celebrate this historic milestone with us.

Pat Hart (he/they) is the Youth Campaigns Organizer with 350NH, a state-wise climate justice organization. They coordinate and supports the 350NH Youth Team, a diverse group of student activists from across New Hampshire. Their current campaign seeks to address the injustices of PFAS pollution in the state and make polluters pay for the harm they have caused.

Michael Ansara was on the front lines. In this fascinating memoir, he traces an arc of discovery: from the hope and moral clarity of the Civil Rights Movement to the ten-year struggle to end the war in Vietnam, with its sit-ins, marches, confrontations, and antiwar riots.

The Hard Work of Hope shows how he learned to become a more effective organizer and build the Massachusetts Fair Share organization. The book explores issues that remain urgent.
