Peterborough Plus unit of League of Women Voters and co-sponsor Open Democracy invite you to a screening of Tomboys! Feisty Girls and Spirited Women.
In this lively, inspiring short documentary, interviews with African-American teenager, Jay Gillespie; firefighter, Tracy Driscoll: lesbian artist, Nancy Brooks Brody; and political activist “Granny D.,” are intercut with personal photographs and archival footage to celebrate tomboys of all ages.
We will be joined by Tomboys!documentary filmmakers Julie Akeret &amp; Christian McEwen for Q&amp;A and discussion after. 
Suggested donation, $10. Doors open 6:45.
