Join us to hear from one of the new generation of activists, Owen Madaus, about the most pressing issues that concern him, the work that he engages in, and some reflection about what he hopes to see in the future. Owen has recently finished his Masters degree, and will also tell us about his research into how narratives fuel conflicts and a methodology to address that issue.
Owen Madaus has a Master’s degree in Conflict Resolution and Coexistence with experience in peacebuilding, advocacy, and community-based development. Owen led organizing for Boston’s Hiroshima/Nagasaki 80th anniversary commemoration, is a former Peace Corps Volunteer, and is a Campaign for Peace, Disarmament, and Common Security Board member.
