NOTE NEW VENUE!  South Church, 27 Pleasant St., ConcordAttention community choruses, church choirs, school bands, a group of friends, or a family: join with us as we raise our voices in song to celebrate our shared humanity through song in a joyful, welcoming, and public space.
Your group can select up to 3 songs that reflect the themes of justice, belonging, and/or community. Please provide lyrics so that everyone present may sing.
Not wanting to be in a group leading a few songs?  No problem, you are welcome to enjoy the music.  This event warmly welcomes ALL to attend.
Joyful Noise is an intentionally inclusive, participatory, celebratory space.  My friends, these are weary times, let's create a moment of joyful resistance!

As the third offering of its 98th season, the Community Players of Concord will present To Kill a Mockingbird, Christopher Sergel’s stage adaptation of the 1960 Pulitzer Prize winning novel by Harper Lee.To Kill a Mockingbird depicts a disturbing chapter of life in a sleepy Depression era Alabama town, where 9-year-old Scout and her brother Jem live with their widowed father, attorney Atticus Finch.When a young black man is accused of a terrible crime, Atticus defends the man in a trial that sends violent waves throughout the community. Timeless and lingering, this hard-hitting work explores prejudice, compassion and the courage to do what is right. The production is directed by Elizabeth Lent and the cast includes Chris Demers as Atticus, Emerson Sullivan as Scout, Emerson Morse as Jem, Simon Hutchins as Dill, Saphaedra Renee as Calpurnia, Patricia Kegel as Miss Maudie and Matthew J. Murray as Tom Robinson.
CONTENT WARNING: This production contains racial slurs, depictions of violence and racism, and reference to sexual abuse. 
To Kill a Mockingbird will be performed Friday, May 1 and Saturday, May 2 at 7:30 pm and Sunday, May 3 at 2:00pm at Concord City Auditorium, 2 Prince Street, Concord, NH. The May 3rd performance will be ASL interpreted. 
Tickets for adults are $22 and $20 for juniors/seniors. Tickets may be purchased online at communityplayersofconcord.org. The theatre box office opens 90 minutes before each performance. Deaf patrons attending the May 3rd
performance may contact the box office chair at <a href="mailto:Jim.Webber@communityplayersofconcord.org">Jim.Webber@communityplayersofconcord.org</a> to reserve seats in the section nearest the interpreters.

End-of-Life Options in the Live Free or Die State 
Many people have an advance directive - but few understand how decisions are actually carried out in a medical setting. This talk examines end-of-life planning in New Hampshire, including the role of advance directives, and the critical importance of medical orders such as POLST and DNR. We will cover end-of-life options available in NH now, including voluntarily stopping eating and drinking (VSED). We will also cover Medical Aid in Dying (MAiD), a legal option available to roughly one third of Americans, but not yet here in NH. We'll discuss what MAiD is, what it is not, where things stand in NH, and how individuals are working to bring this option to NH. The emphasis is on practical understanding, clear communication, and preparing for real-world decisions. Free and open to the public.Sponsored by the Friends of the Wilmot Public Library.
