Join educator and naturalist Linden Rayton of Living Water Nature Programs at the Batchelder Mill Trails (Shawmut St. entrance) for a spring walk exploring the natural and social history of a unique spot along Concord’s Mill Brook. For a brief period of time, the falling water powered local industry here. Now it is beautiful woods walk where many of our local wildflowers can be enjoyed. This is a wider trail with both gravel and dirt portions and rolling terrain.

FREE Addiction Recovery Program
Are you struggling with smoking, gambling, anger, drugs, alcohol, pornography, ‘retail therapy’ or some other compulsive behavior? Every Friday night at 6:45pm Granite State Baptist Church offers an addiction recovery program utilizing the Simply Steps curriculum. The group sessions are confidential, voluntary, and self-paced. Participants view a 10 minute video lesson, then break up into gender specific&nbsp;small group discussions. Attendees&nbsp;are gently encouraged to optionally share their hopes, hurts and dreams in a supportive environment. FREE&nbsp;transportation is available for Concord residents - call 603-738-4725.&nbsp; A homemade dinner is served afterwards about 8:00pm.

Dana incorporates elements of old time and country blues with rock and folk sensibilities. Equally adept at American flat picking and English finger-style, Dana often combines them to create a rhythmic style uniquely his own. Doors to the sanctuary of the Boscawen Congregational Church open at 6:15 pm, the music starts at 7:00, and the evening is typically wrapped up by 9:45. The sanctuary is handicap accessible by the door on the street side of the church across from the Fire Station.Admission is FREE, but we pass a basket for donations. Refreshments are available by donation. There will be coffee, tea, hot chocolate &amp; water on the beverage table, assorted desserts and snacks, and several hot options for a light dinner.
