Reaching For The Moon with Storyteller Andy Davis

On Sunday, July 19, at 6:30 pm, storyteller Andy Davis will be performing at the West Street Ward House in Concord. The event is a fundraiser for New Hampshire Peace Action and is one of 20 performances Davis is doing through New Hampshire, Vermont and Massachusetts this summer, ranging from Burlington to Provincetown, getting to all of them by bicycle, on two tours totaling 24 days and 900 miles.

Doors will open at 5:30 for a potluck dinner. We’ll provide the plates, napkins and silverware, you bring a dish to share!

Andy will be telling “Reaching for the Moon: Stories About Bending the Arc of the Moral Universe,” a set of social justice stories, including historical tales, personal stories and a bit of folklore, about maintaining hope and standing up for what’s right in the most difficult of times.

There is a suggested donation of $15 at the door, but no one will be turned away for lack of funds. Please RSVP so we can get an accurate count.

Please note that there is only on-street parking at West Street Ward House. If possible, please carpool!
