In the first part of this ceramic workshop, clay is shaped into a chip and dip bowl with a central well and surrounding rim, then left to dry before its first firing. In the second session, glaze is applied to add color and a smooth, durable finish. The piece is fired again, completing a functional bowl ready for serving.
